About Quinn's Rapid Recharger
Founded in 1996 by Stan Quinn, Quinn's Rapid Recharger started recharging toner cartridges. They bought a Business in a Box advertised in The Recharger, an industry magazine. It included manuals and videos showing how to recharge the most popular toner cartridges. It also included replacement parts.
What I like about the business is that everybody wins. We keep about 90% of the toner cartridge out of the landfill. The customer saves 30-50% versus an OEM cartridge.
Some organizations and people were instrumental in our success:
The Recharger Magazine has an industry publication and hosts an annual World EXPO where information is exchanged.
I met Dale Derrick at my first World EXPO. He was infinitely generous in his advice, including my need to hook up with a church.
I met Martin Davis from Top of the Line Printing & Graphics in a networking group. His advice is generous and valuable. He also urged me to find a church.
I have enjoyed working with the Oceanside Chamber almost since we opened our doors.
